Development and execution of Alternative Work Program (AWP):
Trusted Solutions Group works in collaboration with GC’s to develop an AWP that will satisfy the DC first source requirements and ultimately gain approval of the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES).
Our Alternative Work Plan utilizes the C.O.R.E. curriculum (Construction Orientation Readiness Education Program), established by NCCER. Our partners at ABC Metro Washington have been successfully running this program since 2008 equipping students with the basic knowledge and skills required in and across the construction trades. CORE is designed to teach industry specific fundamental skills that can help streamline students into long term employment.
